Pochong Chirp : Huh? We can buy shares on a margin you know right? If you have confidence in the future outlook of the stock and wanna get in cheap, why would you want to miss the chance just because of liquidity issue? Just max out your loan, margins and repay later.

Chirp Pochong : not everyone is risk taker like you.  we can only predict but no one knows for sure which way the mkt is moving.  on margin brings stress if it continues to fall.  if that happens, how u want these ppl to pay back the loans?

Pochong Chirp : Not going to comment further. Don't look back in anger when the boat set sail. They only have thenselves to blame for not setting aside cash when investing to buy the dip / correction / crash.
