Can anyone advise how does dividend work?
$Singtel(Z74.SG$ does it mean holding to some singtel shares for a certain period will be entitled to dividends?how does one know you have received dividends?

Jer_Soul : U need to have the share before or by the ex-div date. Would be reflected in your account aft dividend date

MooSting : As long as you hold the share to the ex-dividend date then you are entitle to the payout later. Look at your account statement to confirm the dividend payout.
