I was brought up in a very poor, abusive household in Louisiana.
I was kicked out of highschool at 15. got a job as a cook to pay for the car I illegally drove to night school / work.
16 - 17 land surveyor. cutting line...
I STILL graduated highschool.
the day I made 18 i went offshore working commercial diving and doing platform inspection work in the gulf.
while doing this I was thinking business ideas.
I started the first portable, ip based, self sufficient, surveillance systems for government agencies.
sold.
started POV cameras and kiosk to spit out a DVD of your adventure with the contracts I obtained through the cruise industry, ski, scuba etc.
sold.
lidar company.
sold.
I'm tired....
I'm 34 and I may be retired, but that work / making money mentality never stops.
conviction is about the strongest thing you can have when making, sustaining or entering any deal or opportunity..
I will say with confidence that I've never been more convicted with a decision in my life. I believe in EVERY aspect of this trade. EVERY reason for this trade and EVERY opportunity for the average person, (including myself) to change their life from this trade

Velvet Monkey : I'm 70+ and have been working since 13 too. Have done well in two owned businesses over 45 years of self employment, but actually didn't end well on either of them. Last one lost to covid fall out. So changed gears totally and joined a friend with gme. Found amc and both all in. I'm a huge believer! Only concern is will a govt halt screw it up or some other hf trick?

the payoff is exponential as well..
at the end of the day, it's a business decision and we are both well aware that sometimes, they're 50/50.
payout is sometimes MUCH higher though..
