$Cassava Sciences (SAVA.US)$ It’s understandable in times like this that there will be anxieties and doubts, that’s just human nature. I have friends asking if they should sell, my reply is always the same (may sound like a broken record) – why did you buy in the first place? Did you buy because of hear-say and want to make a quick buck w/o doing your due-diligence or FOMO or because you see future potential in the company? If you are a real investor who have done in-depth research and analysis over an extended period of time and buy because you truly believe in the company and you know that nothing has fundamentally changed for the worse in what the company is doing, then you probably won’t ask the question on whether to sell. The sell down is a well thought thru plan and coordinated effort from various parties in my opinion. For example, the citizen petition comes in the form of a whistle-blower approach and nobody (including SAVA) can take legal actions against whistle-blowers and investigations need to be carried out that will delay SAVA’s progress on many fronts. Now who could gain? Those who are familiar with AD would know the company who recently received an FDA approved AD drug which have been heavily discredited by many in the field, it has also led to a few FDA resignations. Then there are the BBs who can make a lot of money from the sell-down. There are also many law firms who solicit SAVA investors who lost money to file claims. Finally, bio-tech stocks are not for the faint-hearted, if you lose sleep and appetite due to the high volatility then it’s advisable not to touch these stocks. It also takes years for bio-tech stocks to realize their potential and valuations and the success rate is low, so if you lack patience, it’s better to stay clear.I am not a financial advisor and I owned SAVA shares and I may be wrong but my research and knowledge of SAVA coupled with my risk appetite and personal financials provide a risk vs return ratio that I am comfortable with (although I would prefer less pain but no pain no gain right). This is not a buy or sell call, please DYODD
