Join mooSchool Summer Camp S8 - Technical Indicators
Yooooo mooers,
Welcome back to mooSchool Summer Camp
Let me have a quick check, how many of you used technical indicators for analysis purposes before?
As we know, fundamental analysis and technical analysis are the major schools of thought when it comes to approaching the markets, which stand at opposite ends of the spectrum.
Fundamental analysis involves analyzing a company’s financial statements to determine the fair value of the business, while technical analysis attempts to understand the market sentiment behind price trends by focusing on the study of price and volume.
Practicing equity analysts rarely limit their research to fundamental or technical analysis alone.
What is a Technical Indicator?
Technical indicators are heuristic or pattern-based signals produced by the price, volume, and/or open interest of a security or contract used by traders who follow technical analysis.
Technical indicators are commonly used by active traders, since they’re designed to analyze short-term price movements, but long-term investors may also use technical indicators to identify entry and exit points.
How to access the technical indicators on moomoo?
Currently, 62 system indicators in 10 categories are available on moomoo app.

SG58 : technical analysis is much easier to use compared to fundamental if we set aside the logic and accuracy of this technique. however, it is harder to master as one need to look at different analysis at any one time to be more effective. that's my 2¢.
帅气逼人的范恩 : Fundamentals are friends of time, and technology indicates the direction
