$Baxter International Inc (BAX.US)$ is in advanced discussions to acquire $Hill-Rom Holdings (HRC.US)$ in a deal that could value HRC at about $10 billion.
If talks continue, an agreement to acquire Hill Rom (HRC) could be reached as early as midweek at a valuation of about $150 per share.
News of the latest bid comes after Chicago-based Hill Rom (HRC) rejected a $144 per share offer from Baxter in July.
