Choose a company / industry which you have conviction and familiar with
The biggest mistake for new comers are always listening to what other people are buying and just buying without understanding the business.
Personally, I only buy into companies that I understand and is able to explain the business. Like how they are earning money.
If you do not understand the business then it is hard to sleep in peace when stock prices go on a roller coaster ride.![]()
