bullish vs bearish IPOs

It is hard to anticipate how far the NEW IPO could bullish before it comes to am end - bearish. The recent experience I had with HOOD, very promising at the beginning but it hasn't been doing well since August till date. New trader has to be extremely careful when investing into new IPO especially during market volatility period.
