China Evergrande rises 30%
China Evergrande's increase has increased and is now up more than 30%, approaching the HK$3 mark.
Shares of China Eevergrand Extend gains to rise more than 30%.
Chinese real estate sales rose 10%, and the single-day increase hit a new high since June last year. Today, shares of China Evergrande were sold for HK$246.5 million.
Chinese Estates rose as much as 15%, most since June 2020.
Evergrande is required to pay $83.5 million in interest relating to bonds due in March 2022 today. On the 29th, an amount of 47.5 million US dollars relating to bonds due in March 2024 will also have to be paid.
