I don't trust stocks like TLSA because they are just so over hyped/valued even said by the CEO himself. Stocks like TLSA are tricky because they can be a really good company....that makes no money, but since they hold the majority of an industry they gain the evaluation that investors put them as. News coverage is blasting them with articles on how good or bad they are, but in the end it doesn't matter because everyone knows who they are and think that if they are so relevant they must be doing well. Investing in futures can be great, but there are times and places to do so. Evaluation is based off what everyone thinks it is valued at and if everyone is evaluating it on what they hear and don't look themselves then you're not investing in a company, you are investing in the words of random and uneducated blind people. The reason why stocks like TSLA thrive is because its the people that grow the company, this is a topic that economists debate vigorously about still. You could almost say it's like a pyramid scheme, but created by the investors and not the company.
lusy bubb : I agree with your opinion,Tesla really has a lot of hype
_911_ : that's very well written. I think Elon did a great job running the company and he had successfully revolutionized the car industry and proved he is right, now the traditional car companies realized that and they need to work hard to catch up. but I wont invest in TESLA because I also agree the it is so overvalued and already priced in a lot of optimistic views about its future growth
Tony Toppi OP _911_ : thanks so much for your lovely words
