My super layman way of describing buying in stocks-
- when I am younger(no commitments but with potential) buying stocks is like finding girlfriends/ boyfriends. I have time but limited capital in my hands- up my ante and take the risks! Ride the waves but learn from mistakes. I win some, lose some too!
- when I aged (with commitment but no less potential🤣) buying stocks is like finding potential partner- knowing which stocks you wanted to buy in(with research and charts) and how much you are willing to invest/ confident in the company for future even when market is down. Stability and security (FAANMG)
On the part about stocks selling-
- Everyone seems to have a target price of what they wanted or when to sell. I have yet to master the selling part as I an aiming to stay on this long term relationship with these companies. I am too vested or maybe 🤔 too comfortable in not taking any more risks??!! Maybe it’s like old married couple!!
Teach me when to let go! 🤣🤣 I am still learning.…😊
JackieRose : LOL, a very popular metaphor, we are all still learning
