PocketChange : They buy Back shares for a number or Reasons but mainly to keep their float down. Or total number of shares outstanding ‘investors’ hold. ThUs increasing the Value of each share. Which is represented by The EPS. Now when you here of a company giving an Offering( selling, creating more shares) theyre dilutIng the share price to raise capital
