Hey mooers, welcome to Technical DNA's column . I'm using technical indicators to seek good investment opportunities. Today I'm going to introduce an extremely useful indicator, the MACD divergence . Follow me pls to know more about indicators!

I've updated this column for 2 weeks and thanks for your feedbacks and suggestions . I tried to reply to every comment and to interpret some basic indicators, such as turnover & volume. I'm looking forward to getting more feedbacks from you, like did you try to buy or sell stocks by any indicators? Are they useful? Tell me more pls .

What is MACD divergence?

The 'MACD divergence' is a situation where the price creates higher tops and the MACD creates a raw of lower tops, or the price creates a lower bottom and the MACD creates higher bottoms, MACD divergence after a significant uptrend indicates that the buyers are losing power and MACD divergence after downtrend indicates the sellers losing power.

Therefore, the indicator 'MACD bottom divergence' aims to find stocks that are likely to go up in the future.

Tips: As shown in the pic, the indicator could be useful in short-term investment, so don't hold the stocks too long if you buy them on the indicator. Sell them in time when you make a profit!

DP涨跌询问处 : Divergence only means that the strength could be weakening. It does not mean a trend change. MACD is not a good trend indicator. No indicator should be used alone.

Jas1616 : Using MACD alone doesn’t give you an accurate overlook. You still need to pair up with another indicator to have a greater chance of confirmation.

Exactly! No indicator should be used alone I’m trying to provide a list of stocks with MACD divergence, which is one of the most typical technical indicators. I’m trying to combine more indicators to pick stocks so hopefully I’ll provide a more reasonable list in the near future you can also tell me how you pick a stock and what indicators you use, thanks in advance
