Luck in the Timing
I won’t exactly say luck in picking the right stock but luck in the timing when I first started investing.
To be precise, I started in end March 2020 and if you recalled everything just crashed. I picked a relative safe stock that paid dividends $Exxon Mobil (XOM.US)$ and doubled my money in a year. I won’t say its the best pick as tech stocks tripled or even quadruple.
End of day, profit is profit and for my first time I am happy with it as compared to this year where my portfolio is going as flat as an airport. Only money I made is off premiums from selling puts and calls. Capital gains are barely existent.![]()
