Spotify admits to excessive battery consumption on iOS 14.8/iOS 15

$Spotify Technology (SPOT.US)$ According to MacRumors, after a large number of reports and complaints, Spotify Streaming Music admitted that its app may cause excessive battery consumption and overheating in the iOS 14.8 and iOS 15 updates, and promised to fix it in the near future.

Recently, Spotify stated that it is aware of reports of rapid battery drain, and it has forwarded these reports to its iOS technical team. Spotify did not say when there will be repairs, nor whether it will perform app updates or other troubleshooting steps.
