  • Popular on moomoo OP GratefulPanda :

  • Upncoming1841 : I set alerts on the maximum decrease in price that I can stomach on every stock in my portfolio. Once I get the alert, I will be ready to exit my position and treat the stock like a bad dream. Another way i manage risk is not to put all eggs in one basket but to invest in different markets, different sectors, and different asset classes.

  • GT1982 : In the broader sense, I only invest in the sectors that I know or that are easy to understand.

Then within the sector I only invest in companies that I have researched on and found to pass my criteria.

Finally to reduce risk further, I use position sizing and stop loss to bring down risk to the minimal level.

  • chris from queens : Me personally, I look down the line and what the company itself is capable of doing, also in the moment.  I tell everyone patience is key, "great things come to people who wait" this is true but you also need to be on point and learn how to read the charts and gather as much info as possible.  The best way to describe it is like this...I look for stocks of companies that have potential growth and take a chance on the ones I researched and find that right stock where the reward is greater than the risk, it's all part of investing.  Me personally I'm a risk taker I also like to gamble everybody gambles to win but many do not I separate myself from them I put my blinders on and I go with what I know and what I feel and just trust the process. Risk will always be part of the stock market, because if you don't risk anything you can't be rewarded with anything.  Just be careful with what you risk unless you have done an enormous amount of DD. I wish every single one of you the best and Hope your reward outweighs the risk...this week we seek our reward, well I seek my reward because I feel the risk part is over with now it is time for me to enjoy the fruits of my labor.  Get that MOOlah community! 💰💰💰

  • chris from queens : Ⓜ️➿Ⓜ️➿‼️💯🐮

  • Daenerys Targaryen : Tesla has always been a stock that can be expected. At present, as long as the economy does not fluctuate too much and the market does not have much impact, the possibility of it rising is still 90%.

  • HopeAlways : Identifying and managing investment risks will be important to get the most out of one's stock portfolio. As I buy individual stocks $AAPL.US$, $BABA.US$, $BAC.US$, $MSFT.US$, $NVDA.US$ to build up my long term stock portfolio, company risk may be the biggest risk as I may incur losses if I own shares in a company that disappoints in sales or earnings. Poor operational performance can reduce the value of the company in the market. Even if a company were to report good revenue or profits, its growth or outlook may not be strong enough to meet market expectations. Doing one's research by analyzing financial results, listening to earnings conference by management, reviewing forward looking statement by management, measuring company performance with different financial ratios and readiing commentary by different analysts and other investors could lower company specific risk. While doing all the research may not completely eliminate company risk, ensuring that a stock's valuation makes sense based on its potential earnings could minimise investment risk and costly investment losses.

  • jasonleett HopeAlways : Well articulated....

  • 102089245 HopeAlways : Very wise strategy to deal with investment risk in your portfolio. 👍

  • Jeet Kune Do HopeAlways : Great writing, investment takes alot of work.

  • chris from queens Popular on moomoo OP : 🕺🌅 Pumped up for this week. Best platform out! Best community without a crap! 🗣️

  • cleef : For me the general rule is always patience. Looking at charts only facilitate my entry point. Once vested allow the bulls and the bears to fight it out. Ultimately given time, the company will grow and so does valuations.

  • 101767718 HopeAlways : I can see that you are able to handle the investment risk well. 💪The stocks in your portfolio are also very profitable companies 👍
