Chinese battery and car maker BYD says plan to make its semiconductor unit (BYD Semiconductor) go public on GEM of Shenzhen Stock Exchange get nod from HKEx.
BYD: The Hong Kong Stock Exchange agreed to split the company's subsidiary, BYD Semiconductor Co., Ltd. and list it on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's Venture Exchange, and agreed to exempt the company from providing guarantee quotas to the company's shareholders.
