Facebook (FB) - Temporary FUD or the beginning of the end?

$Facebook(FB.US)$ We all know about the legal trouble that FB finds itself in, and the company certainly doesn’t have a good reputation anymore, but if we look only at its fundamentals, it’s still a solid company with a deep moat that competitors can’t easily touch.

This isn’t the first time FB had seen legal issues, and it’s always come out relatively unscathed, but the more it happens, the more we have to wonder when it’ll hit its tipping point.

I’m interested in hearing what you think the company’s prospects are purely from a business standpoint. Please avoid ranting about how much you hate the company for the taints it’s left.

  • Dabria : Buying fb, no debt and lowest pe among faamg, it is trading like a value stock now but the grow rate is still >20% yoy.

  • lailie : Ad revenue issues from Apple restrictions. Government regulation issues in the near term by increased regulations and far term by anti-trust movement.
I can see Instagram being broken off Facebook in the next 2-4 years. This means all potential growth for fb will rely on the metaverse investments (as ad revenue is slowing and users are deleting and moving to other social media apps). I really only see a slow fall for Facebook unless they can make the metaverse profitable or pivot into another successful business (such as Google and Android or Amazon and AWS)

  • Marilyne : This isn't new for FB. They are navigating the new iOS changes and dealing with the whistleblower, but they will survive and improve because of all of this. I'm holding my shares. I have faith in Zuck and the management team.

  • HOT STOCK : I am bullish on FB MetAverse. Furthermore this company is fundamentally sound. I am buying the dip!

  • Master Corgi : Just cash out ones it’s back in the green

  • Susan Bertolino : Facebook is becoming more and more an advertising platform in nature, and the positioning of the advertising platform also brings greater hidden dangers to Facebook’s future

  • RBee : Begening of end...

  • Machiavellis3rdEye : Screw their fundamentals, we all know Facebook has screwed over millions of humans. Why Co-sign on their bullshit? Maybe you enjoy (or don’t mind as long as you “profit”) supporting the very entities taking all your money/data/rights?
Sound unintelligible to me, and you shouldn’t promote this crap.

  • Machiavellis3rdEye Machiavellis3rdEye : “Rant” over.
