If a data processor provides data abroad and meets any of the following circumstances, it shall report the data exit safety assessment to the national Internet information department through the local provincial network information department.
(1) Personal information and important data collected and generated by operators of critical information infrastructure;
(2) Departure data contains important data;
(3) Personal information processors that process personal information for up to 1 million people provide personal information overseas;
(4) In total, it has provided more than 100,000 people with personal information or more than 10,000 people with sensitive personal information abroad;
(5) Other situations requiring the export safety assessment of declared data as stipulated by the State Internet Communications Department.
