Fundamental analysis is the first thing to look at when deciding to hit the trade button. As long as the management of the company got a clear direction and control over their long term plan the. its a buy for me. $Uphealth(UPH.US$ and $Very Good Food(VGFC.US$ are my recent buys. However in the world full of uncertainty, it's really hard to just use fundamental analysis to decide whether to buy or let go.
Along the trading way, I do believe that the term " buy on news and sell on news" is the reality. For example, as much as i love the prospects of Chinese tech Companies like $DiDi Global (Delisted)(DIDI.US$, i really concern about the new direction by CCP gov. Whatever thing, that come out from an official, would make the stock fluctuate so much $Futu Holdings Ltd(FUTU.US$ . It's hard to predict the future, so be positive and patient, do the analysis and study the news before hitting the trade button!

student otg 7-boy OP : you absolutely must keep up with the news about your investments otherwise hold could you know whether to buy more hold what you have and wait or run like hell..lol but seriously people that don't do the research are the definition of "dumb money " (no offense to anyone) but it would be no different than buying " ocean front property in Arkansas " in other words getting duped but doing it to yourself. I like to re-evaluate positions that I'm holding on a weekly basis as well as keep up with current events.
