$NIO Inc (NIO.US)$ Killing options?

Dream is Possible : Kill 40 or 39? If it's a long call/put, they have no time value, and their tickets are worth nothing. It is estimated that only a cover call or sell put is necessary to kill. If 39 or more kills a $39 CC, the $39 sell put is also the same price. Many people say they kill options because they don't have much money to redeem stocks and are forced to close positions two hours before the securities close? If this is the case, then the stock price can only jump up and down before closing to allow the computer to automatically close the position. So I can't understand the phrase “kill options”
