If I’m bullish on Rivian, is it still wiser to wait for the Market Value to drop a little after IPO?

$Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$ I am interested in a small position in Rivian. I think a lot of insiders are somewhat skeptical of the market valuation of $60B ish, and that it will drop for a week or so after all the stock flipping happens.

I think the smart play is to wait a week or two for all that initial action to happen and then jump in if I want to hold a position long term.

I’m wondering however, if I am going to hold long term anyway, does it matter if I jump in immediately? Possibly catching some of the initial offering?

I feel as if there’s a chance Rivian could hit and not drop, actually even increase and hold.

That’s really more a feeling opportunity than an educated guess however. Or maybe I am just anxious to get a stake. Thoughts?

  • Alaness : Same thoughts too tbh. ESP when it’s gonna start at a higher price than lucid. Then again it’s backed by Amazon so there may be a hype riSe followed by a drop.
