Intel - Good buying opportunity following new chips?
$Intel (INTC.US)$ $Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ 12th gen i9 and i5 performance reviews have dropped and look very promising, especially the i5-12600K giving the 5th Gen Ryzen chips a run for its money at a similar price point.
Unless AMD has another generational performance leap in store, seems like a good Intel buying opportunity?

Feleshia : nah... i'll stick to amd, stock actually has volume and cult following
Cully : Yeah, this is a big reversal for Intel. Their 11th gen chips were worse than their 10th gen chips so the big performance leap from 10th/11th gen to 12th gen is good to see.
Especially so since this is their first attempt at a new architecture, so I would expect them to have more big improvements in the coming years.
That said, their chips aren't significantly better than AMD's for gaming at this point so I would expect them to go back and forth with AMD in terms of performance for a while.
Jacinthen : I LOVE how they are bolstering their US production. If this supply chain stuff has taught us anything, in house production ESPCIALLY of something with defense implications, could be huge for the bottom line.
I think the time to buy low in Intel is happening now.
mootastic : buy.... this won't go further low anymore... the most is 47 or 48...
K-Ge Feleshia : Good for you! You came here just to say that?
