Good news for the next few months, but as owners try to find chargers & experience the hours long charge times, they are going to be pissed! It's not like a gas car where "charge" (fill up) time is 2 minutes & there are gas stations on every corner!
TESLA owns all the EV gas stations! If you own a non-Tesla EV, you know what I'm taking about. My tiny EV (2017 FIAT 500e) is perfect for Malibu to Santa Monica, but outside those areas... severe range anxiety! Yes, the FIAT 500e has very limited range, but it's the charge time of hours (to days with Lucid) that is a killer & complete lack of fast chargers out of town.
Tesla charge time is long as well, but you can always find a Tesla SuperCharger (still not nearly as easy/fast as gas!:)
PS: I leased a 2015 FIAT 500e for 3 years at $99 a month!!!! And last year bought a 2017 FIAT 500e (like new, very low miles, still warranty) for under $8,000!!!! The FIAT 500e is a fantastic EV, base price of $34K, great ride, great sound system, VIRTUALLY NO MAINTENANCE... costs me nothing to drive it!!!!
