Money has been moving away from the obvious wins like $MasterCard(MA.US$ and $Visa(V.US$ towards $Block(SQ.US$ and $PayPal(PYPL.US$ for about the last year or so. Not sure why, the valuations on MA and V aren't cheap, but they're reliable. SQ and PYPL you are getting more fringe business wise, and you are paying alot more.
Sidenote as a consumer, PayPal is awful. They always favor the merchant with any sort of dispute, and it's a nightmare if you have an issue. Better off just chalking it up as a loss and moving on. Basically the polar opposite of a company like American Express for example.
Of the group, and they're all different, SQ, DFS, V, MA, AXP, PYPL, etc.... PYPL is the one that's the least likable.

lala_lele : Will VISA will go up?
BfqseGOSuE : I had a dispute with a merchant and PayPal refunded my money immediately. I was very happy with their customer service.
uploading : Paypal is an excellent company. A lot of there products have a huge moat. Their subsidiares like Venmo are only going to keep growing , especially since they're getting into crypto. It's buy or hold, definitely not a sell.
Babyonemoretime : my customer service experience with PayPal has been stellar
anecdotal evidence I guess
Starbucks follower : I've dealt with Paypal CS a few times when items I ordered did not arrive. I've always received a refund once the tracking shows items was not delivered.
JDQQ : Discover CARD is also very consumer unfriendly... pro merchant even when the merchant is a fraudster.
Kennyhot : Would you feel the same way if you were on the side of that dispute? I ask, because countless honest merchants are - daily.
Vais Bargoroth : The GPU's in the first US exascale supercomputer Frontier are all AMD. sounds like u did something shady
