For everyone who is thinking tesla is dropping sharply due to elon musk selling...
You need to understand in US stock exchange rules, insiders with more than 10% of voting rights (pretty sure Elon has that right) in a certain company cannot just unload their shares as and when they want.

You need to understand in US stock exchange rules, insiders with more than 10% of voting rights (pretty sure Elon has that right) in a certain company cannot just unload their shares as and when they want.
They have to go through a filing to state the shares they want to sell and slowly unload it bit by bit, day by day. This is a law so they cant dump their shares when things go bad.
this is a technical pullback for tesla and infact MOST of the stocks as we had a very good run the last 3 weeks.
Tesla is just experiencing more pain due to the fact that tesla had actually gained close to 40% while the rest of the stocks only gained about 5% to 10%.

Will tesla crash back down to 800? Not likely due to the strong bull trend. Unless there is a black swan event, otherwise I dont really see tesla going back below the 800s. In fact it almost touched 20ma on daily chart and did a rebound up. Whether the 20ma will hold as a dynamic support or not, time will tell.
But as always, trade safe & invest wise!

Investing 101 OP Nekomimi : They need to submit their filing of shares unloading and it is over period of months. Depending how much they selling. It is not over a day or two period. You can read more up regarding this.

Investing 101 OP 董事长 : Yes his brother kimbal has cashed out based on what I saw on insider trading. But 100mil of stocks do not make tesla drop 9%. This is a 1.2trillion dollar market cap. 100mil is insignificant.
I have a screenshot of the insider trading information and this has shown that Elon musk has not started selling his stocks yet.
So this drop is a technical pullback and it is perfectly normal. Not just for tesla but for most stocks due to recent run.
