$Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$ My honest assessment: The Rivian truck and SUV are interesting products from a "cool" standpoint...but I think the market isn't huge for a $75k+ truck that has only mediocre battery technology and range (and doesn't charge all that quickly either). I think the SUV will sell better. As for the stock price...it's probably too high and will pull back to the 40-50 range quickly. It will have strong support from $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ that currently owns 20% and has stated they will purchase more in the IPO as well as some big brokers. Amazon will continue to support it with orders for delivery trucks. Will it go out of business? probably not...but it may not warrant the high market cap ultimately.
