As much as $Rivian Automotive(RIVN.US)$ is going to be huge in the opening week, it will be unpredictable where the market will swing towards. You can't simply be a fan of EVs but ignore the other EV players like $NIO Inc(NIO.US)$ $Li Auto(LI.US)$ $XPeng(XPEV.US)$ $Lucid Group(LCID.US)$ etc on top of $Tesla(TSLA.US)$

Tesla took years to establish itself as a big player today, so I don't expect Rivian to be the new 'Tesla' so soon until at least 2 years later. But this does not mean we wait till then, we monitor and observe the baby steps it takes to grow and develop further.

One thing for sure, you can't take the Tesla out of EV, nor the EV out of Teslaa (and vice versa for Rivian). May the EV market march on towards greater heights from here on!
