MooHumor: The so-called "Frequency illusion."
According to Wikipedia, frequency illusion is a cognitive bias in which, after noticing something for the first time, there is a tendency to notice it more often, leading someone to believe that it has a high frequency of occurrence.
Some mooers must be indulging in the stock market that they see market-related things everywhere. It isn't a bad thing actually. Imagination is like your superpower. Just make sure you get enough rest when stock markets are closed okay?

Syuee : I love gardening and nature. Personally, investing is like gardening. It is just one of those life skills you ever need.

In order to add value to the “physical asset”, I must till the soil and provide it with nutrients. After that, I will put it in different types of plants to keep some blooms going.

Over time, however, some plants may not like the environment and die off. Other plants love it and start to flourish. Some years the weather is perfect and some years the climate isn’t favourable.

I keep thinking that gardening is a lot like building and maintaining different components of an investment portfolio.

Taking extra care of my garden during bad weather means being able to weather bear markets. Hold firm and have some extra cash to make new investments at a dip.

I really enjoy the beauty of what I have created in my garden. It equates to watching my money and dividends grow and compound over time.
I have a keen interest in flower gardening. I appreciate natural beauty. It is also fun and rewarding to see the results of my efforts turn into a pretty area full of plants and flowers. However, a nice garden takes time, patience and attention to nurture.
