$Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY.US)$ Impact investing and/or Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) managers may take into consideration factors beyond traditional financial information to select securities, which could result in relative investment performance deviating from other strategies or broad market benchmarks, depending on whether such sectors or investments are in or out of favor in the market. • Brandon Golden : ESG. Ok.
"We are living in an era of woke capitalism in which companies pretend to care about social justice to sell products to people who pretend to hate capitalism."

  • Geminiasianboi : "ESG" is mostly just a catch phrase. People want to eliminate ICE vehicles in exchange for EVs. Well, those EVs require huge amounts of copper, lithium and other base metals and rare earth metals. All of which need to be mined. Is mining considered ESG by those who advocate ESG? No, it's not. I'll invest in Miners: Gold, Silver, Copper, Uranium, etc.

  • GoldenGold : The ESG scoring system is not perfect, and we don’t know which scoring system is used in the compilation process
