$PayPal (PYPL.US)$ I find it amazing the DOJ launches an investigation into Fintech and it's not even brought up. IMO this is when PYPL (along with others in sector) started it's downturn. I just don't think last qt earnings is what's got the stock's movement. I believe the DOJ news has been driving the stock since late October.

Dogoro777 : I find it amazing that you can have such a strong subjective view that this is what caused PayPal's share price to move, the various short-term negatives menitoned in the article above notwithstanding.

Leoi hairless : I think it was that article that was instrumental in me flipping one of my positions into Visa. You project similar price targets in 2025. Was going to ask the forum for a concensus opinion. I'm more old school and chose V as my fintech ( especially with crypto acceptance) versus Square or PYPL... just me, but V is more established, with higher market share. PYPL is used by younger generations ( my daughters Venmo money, etc) I don't ever carry cash hardly anymore. Gen X'er here... So that's my main angle.. the future.. I'll stuck with Visa, but PYPL is just about at the same price level today as Visa....
