Is the EV bubble actually a good thing?
$Tesla (TSLA.US)$ $Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US)$ $Ford Motor (F.US)$ I agree that the valuation and market caps for EV companies do not reflect production and revenues. It definitely is a bubble, however, will the bubble provide EV companies a lot more cash for research into innovative technologies? Does it actually increase the timeline of electrification for automobiles a lot faster than otherwise?

BeContrarian : That is a wrong assumption... I do not think any company can match the success of tesla even if given several times the resources that tesla had. Not to mention the challenge is really in scaling up for production. And not every problem can be solved by throwing money at it...
韭菜晋级 BeContrarian : You're right... but I'm asking you a very simple question... are pickups delicious?
BeContrarian 韭菜晋级 : Let me ask you a question. Let's say pickup truck is the most popular but you cannot manufacture to the scale necessary to fulfil demand, what's the point?
BeContrarian : Looking at Tesla, scaling up is not easy, and a lot is still unproven yet. This is hopium....
BeContrarian : How fast Rivian can ramp up is also unproven. This is way overvalued... Not financial advice, everything I post is for entertainment purposes only
韭菜晋级 BeContrarian : This is only temporary... it's only a matter of time before production capacity catches up...
BeContrarian 韭菜晋级 : Good luck? I shorted Rivian...
