This is the best single piece of advice in this entire thread, AAPL $Apple (AAPL.US)$ is a great company so holding a decent size position of it might make sense but I remember when GE was considered the best diversified stock in the world and when XOM was the largest company by market cap in the world and those both got clipped pretty good when they turned down.
