There is a dIfference why Tigr added to China Small cap iNdex is a good news as compared to FuTu. FuTu was added last year when Privacy & data Protection law wasn’t passed.
After PBOC passed the Privacy law this 1 Nov. and tiger is is accepted by Small cap index. This means CHinese fintech has more or less have some negotiations with the regulators. Else they can’t be accepted in the first place if Chinese regulators wanna be strict about it.
However. This is not a confirmation news. But a relief news. Regulators still allow Chinese fintech business to be operated Normally. And not total ban.
Now have to wait how much restrictions they are going to impose on Chinese fintech.
