JoLoVe : Motley fool are so irresponsible. They recommended Upstart when it was trading at close to 500x PE and it was plainly obvious that it was massively overbought. And they use it in all of their bullshit promo material to show what amazing stock pickers they are. Then when the price crashes massively they say oh well we invest for the long haul and we invest in quality companies and it’s about time in the market not timing the market.  Well if that is true then you wouldn’t continue to recommend a stock (and in fact recommend it as a foundational stock) that is so obviously selling at a price well in excess of its fundamentals.
