$Apple (AAPL.US)$ Every now and again some author on moomoo comes up with a reason to sell Apple and they are always wrong.
I've owned Apple since Steve Jobs returned in 1997 and take profit every now and again to fund my living costs but otherwise just hold it, see capital gains and receive a reasonable dividend.
Buy & Hold.

blacklemontea : Excellent. Thanks.
But what parts of AAPL could be broken off without significant adverse impact to consumers? I can't name any.
Alibabamascot : I’m struggling with another buy point in order to back up the truck … Any ideas from the gallery?
Hearts Gainer Alibabamascot : Not sure how big your truck is but if I were in your frame of mind I'd look at selling some 150 or 155 puts. Doing so would provide some income and perhaps allow you to buy at a lower price than it is today.
GROW sky : Apple is going to keep heading higher. Has great insider buying, amazing fund flows due to index fund purchasing, vertical integration (potential chip business). I think Apple is due for some more analyst love. Will keep heading higher through the rest of the year. Long AAPL!
LarryCheungCFA : Didn't Buffett just sell a bunch of Apple shares over the summer?
KPI Champion LarryCheungCFA : don't know, but it's still one of his largest positions
KNJW : All backwards looking metrics, horrible way to state why someone should own a stock going forward. Not a comment on the stock, I own it and won’t sell because of the cap gain taxes and it’ll earn 6-8% a year which I’d be okay with.
FuuL : But it’s a low yielding stock.
nepia02 FuuL : I can agree. I also like good div yields, for sure! But I also love the 32% that my AAPL has gone up in value. I can live w/ their div yield of .55% until circumstances warrant review.
DanDiem nepia02 : Agree. I’m very happy with the 32% value increase and leaving dividends as is.
