$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ So I get the Hold strategy but has anyone discussed an exit strategy? what is our realistic target price and detail events leading up. ex: brokers stop buying button only allow sell = hold. at what point do we know the growth is finished and ready to cash out. Target price estimates with data to back up claim outside of $1K

  • Titanium_Phalanges : Its up to you honestly no one is gonna give you a definite answer on the topic, my exit strategy is to catch it on the way down after it has reached its peak it will be almost impossible to time the peak and sell it perfectly will be highly volatile.

  • TaMA_ChaN : Can i give you my reasonable strategy with the following pointers?

    1) My DD, shorts have not covered, and they MUST cover.
    2) I buy AMC with what i am willing to lose.
    3) I enter when the times are bad, not it is consider ‘good’.
    4) References to GME, It Squeeze to $500 only because they remove the buy button.

So in short, when AMC moon, it will blow pass at least $500 > $2K. Some wants it $10K - $50K and of cos i welcome that~

For me, i set in an amount of my month worth of pay, and I will sell only 5% of it to hit my entry price. Then the rest are winnings.
I am looking to sell at  intervals of $250 PER SHARE.
Yup kid you not, i am that confident.

Btw i entered at $11 back in march, when it drops to $8 i bough more. Never sold any at $77 because i Know to me $2K is my floor, $50K is the ‘upper limit’.
    Do your Own target.

  • 70200576 OP TaMA_ChaN : thank you guys for entertaining my question. best wishes for all. I'm here for the long haul and willing to cash on the down side as well. thanks again

  • MuscMoo : you'll want to catch itn on the way back down. It will take days if not weeks. learn about implied volatity and when you start to drop you'll want to think about getting it on the way back down. the reason you want to get it voing down is because it is near impossible to determine the maximum price. so this allows you to raise your sell if it goes higher. there will be a ton of fud and bs so i would prepare to fend for yourself but don't cut yourself shory
