John Dow : WSB made a name for themselves with the way they were able to manipulate the Gamestop stock. Tesla is a different ball game though, just look at the market cap of Tesla at +1t $ vs Gamestop at around 16b $, it takes quite a lot more to manipulate the price of a company that big.
woodfill : Gamestop was at 4 and it peaked at 325 or so. It's still above 200. I would not say that story is "mostly over".
Johnsh woodfill : I'll concede that - I guess it's over as far as the general public's horizon and news headlines go however it still receives significant attention.
VertigoWalls : The float for $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ is 812M. $GameStop (GME.US)$ is less than 8% of that. When considering the potential for price movement from retail investors, I am surprised that someone who has a basic understanding of the market would omit this statistic.
