Trading is never easy, but good habits will make you a consistent winner.

Trading is not as easy of pressing the BUY or SELL button. Over the years, I have learnt that there are layers of knowledge & untold facts about trading.

The most important aspect of trading that new traders neglected & when realised it too late, causing them to burn their account ....is Trading Psychology.

Trading Psychology is a mental aspect of trading. It involves thing like how to control your emotions,  eg FOMO.
All new traders will go through the agony of mental torture when they have made several bad trades. The mental stress of trying to recover their losses. Without understanding Trading Psychology,  their trading life will end in a brief moment.

Next important aspect that most new traders ignore is Risk Management.

Risk Management is not solely about cutting losses.
Set your RR, Stop Loss & Gain before entering a trade. Stick to this plan, DO NOT deviate from it due to Fear/Greed.

After you have control your emotions & learned the importance of Risk Management. The next important aspect that will give an edge in trading is Strategy.

New traders tend to switch strategy to another, thinking the next one is better. This is a fatal mistake they have made as there is no one strategy that is the "holy grail" to 100% winning.

Trading is a probability game, in order to test whether a strategy is working for u. You need to do a trading sample (about 25 trades) using the sample strategy to get the result. The key to obtain a true result is that you MUST be consistent in all the 25 trades, using the same variable throughout.

If the result is not satisfactory, then u got use another strategy or twist the variable from same strategy to trial again.

As I mentioned trading is never easy. If you are not willing to put in the effort, then your P/L will also drop effortlessly too.
