China's Transportation Ministry and Other 7 Disability Issues Guidance on Discipline the Protection of Employee Rights and Disability and Disability and Disability Capital Expansion in the New Transportation sector.
Eight departments including the Ministry of Transport jointly issued “Opinions on Strengthening the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Workers in New Forms of Transportation”.
The opinion points out that online car-hailing platform enterprises are urged to participate in social insurance for online car-hailing drivers who meet the circumstances of the labor relationship in accordance with the law, and guide and support online car-hailing drivers who do not fully meet the conditions for establishing the labor relationship to participate in the corresponding social insurance. Prevent the disorderly expansion of capital in the field of new forms of transportation, and strictly investigate and punish illegal and irregularities such as low price dumping, “big data obfuscation,” and inducing fraud in accordance with the law. Implement the principal responsibilities of enterprises in the new transportation business format, guide enterprises to consciously engage in fair competition, and encourage enterprises to take the initiative to make fair competition credit commitments to society.
