$Lucid Group (LCID.US)$ I think it should be noted that Rawlinson has been very vocal that he doesn't think Tesla is going to achieve real level 5 driving anytime in this decade.
It is interesting that Rawlinson seems to be openly inviting the big tech companies to enter into some kind of partnership. However, the fact that no partnership has been announced I find revealing. Surely Lucid and
$Apple (AAPL.US)$ have had discussions. I imagine Apple is demanding too much from Lucid.

hairless : Or maybe Lucid is demanding too much from Apple? This company was successful at drafting behind (pun intended) Tesla's valuation with its SPAC merger. If Tesla was valued at say $100B instead of $1T then Lucid would have beed valued at $9B instead of $90B. Ford is projecting to sell 1 million cars by 2030 and Lucid is projectiong 500K.
Someone squre the valuation differences for me. IMHO, all the other stuff for Lucid is too speculative to give any value. They sell cars.
Dixonnn hairless : Maybe. But then another question arises. Does Lucid have other options? I imagine Lucid could do well working with Mobileye.
The only push back I would give regarding Lucid's upside is that you can rationalize they will have way bigger profit margins than Ford with that 500,000 number. Otherwise, I can't deny that Lucid seems overstretched right now.
Cocilia Pace Dixonnn : Last thing I want is an Apple car. If it's like their mediocre computers, it will be too expensive, not work well, and not connect to systems from other manufacturers. No thanks.
youfoundken : If I'm not wrong, lucid direction not only to sell car but also developing their own chip and battery to sell.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Devilton youfoundken : You are right, I remember reading that somewhere too. The little profits in their last report were from those businesses.
