Hi, can help me to understand a bit here? “Shorting a stock” is it the same as “selling a put”? And what they meant by cover at 6.04? Did they buy in at 6.04? Please kindly help me understand.

No shorting a stock and selling a put is totally different. Shorting a stock means someone sell the stock even though they dont own any. Usually the broker will lend them the stock at a fee. Cover is to buy back the stock to return to the broker. So cover at 6.04 means they buy back at 6.04 and returned the stock. The payout is very different from a put. Shorting a stock can have Infinite loss but your profit is capped. Selling a put is just promising the buyer that you will buy the stock from him at a certain price if he wants to. The payout is capped at both end. Limited profit limited loss.
