Betterthangold OP GM 1 : That’s not how it works. You know that not every stock is shorted by hedge funds, but actually retail. You’d be surprised how much retail shorts AMC in options. If you’re smart you would play it both way in options trading that way you make money on the price going up, or down.

Betterthangold OP GM 1 : I’m not sure how to get an accurate figure, but if you’re going to short on million/billion dollar scale, why would you not play options both ways. I’m sure day/swing traders are doing the same thing, especially with insider trading and cronies in Washington!
