Determine the end of the down trend
$Alibaba (BABA.US)$ I am writing to provide some of my experiences about trying to find a bottom.
First, we will never know what is the bottom of the downtrend or the top of an uptrend. Critical changes in the company and the environment it operate in, plus fomo buying or selling affect the prices.
Second, prices started to get irrational when overbought or oversold and I am not talking about min or hour chart. Daily chart and above will give u a better picture of what lies ahead. I called it my FoMO zone. Most noises will come when we reach a certain level of fomo zone.
Third, there’s really no right or wrong about selling or buying during testing time. strictly your risk and reward management. No “ See I told u so” ….no one really know.
Lastly, have an educated and informed conviction based on your research and understanding of the company. FOMO buying or selling kills. Learn to look away if you think the risk is in control and nothing substantial has changed.
