Cathie Wood and Ark Invest

$ARK ETFs (LIST2551.US)$ I see a lot of hate here for Cathie Wood/Ark Invest and on most other social media platforms. With comments like “worst fund ever” or “look how bad X stock pick has done, how do people even invest in them” etc.

Yet since inception (2014), ARKK has outperformed both the S&P500 and NASDAQ by 100%+. This is after the -25% decline it has seen in the last month as well, before the decline it was more like 200%+.

The fund discloses very clearly how risky it is and how you need to have a long time horizon if you’re investing into it.

To me, it seems like a no brainer to buy up all the ARKK I can at these price levels but wanted to ask: for the people who genuinely think Ark Invest is a crap fund, is it just how it has performed this past year? Or do you have other reasons?
