Good for you. I invest on long term, so less stress as hate to watch it every week. Have been holding since 2008 when it fell to one of it’s lowest point. Each year I take some money out to purchase about 10-15k worth of shares. Slowly accumulate and now have about 150k shares. Now the dividend pays part of investment, so I don’t have to fork out so much money to purchase more Singtel shares. I will be receiving about 6k plus worth of dividend which is equivalent to nearly 3 free Singtel shares.
Of course there is a risk in every stock we invest but if we did our DD and read about Singtel core business model (maybe old school and somehow outdated) but it’s a defensive stock worth investing on long term. I have friends parents who are still holding on longer than most of us!
Money park in banks is a waste of time. Oh I buy all my Singtel shares using cash only. I have not touch my CPF yet. So, I am glad I stick to plan and when it goes to my TP (hopefully by 2023 or earlier), I can almost retire without any financial burden now.

A indictor just like moving average. Just have to understand how to predict price movement. I read with MACD, RSI, and KDJ to feel the relative strength of the movement. Try to elimate the US Stock analysis in mobile app that lack in SG stock.
