Retail Trading Trends | Retail traders bought F, and sold LCID
Nine out of ten stocks have positive trading sentiment levels from last Friday's trading.
Among all positive sentiment stocks, $Ford Motor (F.US)$ had the highest positive sentiment level, which means Ford had the largest net inflows (buy) from retail trader compared to the rest of stocks. Ford is planning to rapidly increase production of its Mustang Mach-Es to meet the increasing demand for the EV, CEO said in a tweet late Friday.
While $Lucid Group (LCID.US)$ was the only one stock with the net outflows (sell>buy) in the top 10. Lucid disclosed last week an ongoing SEC investigation into its SPAC merger with Churchill Capital Corp. IV earlier this year.The EV maker also announced a $1.75 billion debt offering that pressured its stock.
Tracked by Nasdaq RTAT, the chart gives a daily view of retail activity and sentiment from the previous trading day.
*The ticker ranks: $USD traded by retail investors divided by total $USD traded by retail investors across all tickers.
*Sentiment level: it derived from the retail net flows (buy-sell) of the most recent 10 trading days. The more positive (negative) the number, the greater the proportion of recent retail net buying (selling).
