I started short term trading since I using MooMoo. This app is really convenient and easy buy and sell. It makes me feel like playing a game on the screen, except it is real gain and loss.

On my personal experience of short term trading,  I feel that to beginning of sort term trading really need a map/a plan just like building a strong house need a strong foundation.

1. Choose the right stock and make watching list. Do resarch and make sure all the elements meet your requirements. Choosing stock really takes a lots of efforts and research. It depends on how much money size and what industry the person good at or interested. Be prepared that the chosen stocks could become long term hold therefore I personally prefer the stocks with dividends.

2. Pictures of win and loss. Set up % of gain and loss. Set a cut loss percentage that can easily make up from others is very important otherwise it will eat other profits. Learned it on a hard way and please do so.

3. Set up a good habit of reading finance journals, magazines and breaking news especially early in the morning before the market started to know ahead of time in order to act fast. Not all the news are real but maket is very sensitive affect by any kind of news. Need to be able to judge the true of the news and be able to know how to act & fast. Aware of reports date, exdividend date, and other important events. Most likely these are movement dates for the stock.

4. Learn/use the techniques to decide the in and out timing. This is my weakness and still learning. I would be greatly appreciated if anyone can share a good way of learn/read/simplify these hard understand techniques.

5. Patiently waiting until it goes up and sell at the point you forecasted. Don't be greedy and take the profit! When the price start dropping, it is very fast. Learned what is mean rebounds after I let go a lots of changes of spelling high. Without selling and taking the profit, all that is just NOTHING!

6. Unless you set up enough money to buy more, be aware of buying a knife/downside stock! Learned it on the hard way that endless PLTR!!! Always surprised me with its endless drop either good or bed news.

I am sure these are not all of it but these just my thoughts and note from my current experiences. Wish everyone gets what they are wish for!
