Things I wish I applied when I was younger.

Mindset - Giving value. If you can't give value and only do admin work from 9-5, 365 days, you will likely fear for your job. Knock-on effect is you will want to stay in a safe and secured job. Always scared of losing your job and not being able to find another which pays just as well. Thus whenever economy/stock market corrects/plunges, you will likely sell your holdings or freeze up, unable to buy at depressed prizes because of fear.

The internet revolution has created a digital economy where content creators who entertain or create value commands a following and with that following, earns a recurring, increasing income. Similar to an email list, blog followers in the early web 1.0, now in web 2.0 Youtube subscriptions, Social media followers, podcast subscription, Patreon, even OnlyFans has shown us if you provide valuable content, you will never be out of job. I look forward to web 3.0 content where your followers can literally "follow" your avatar as you create the content.

Zooming out, i realised that taking the safest route to Life is actually the riskiest. Imagine going through life, always choosing the most comfortable, safest route. I used to think there's nothing wrong with that, but now i think that it's the surest way to "waste" the life you have. Most risks in life aren't really that debilitating, it's just a perception. Someone once said, "The life you dream of, is on the other side of your fears." How true.

Have you been tiptoeing through Life, hoping to make it to Death safe and sound? What a life you'd have! If you read this post and resonate with what i'm trying to say, choose the path less travelled starting today and see where it'd bring you! :)
