Compared to the top smartphones before Oppo, the 6-nm components produced by TSMC run 20 times faster and some tasks have halved energy consumption. It will debut in the first quarter of 2022 in the Chinese company's flagship Find X series.
Oppo released MarisilIcon X on Tuesday，Allegedly it can handle real-time RAW images - this raw storage format contains the most information，But also requires more computing power to process。 This is different from other smartphones that compress captured images first before applying AI filtering and improving picture quality, which saves time but may sacrifice fidelity.
Video and picture quality are crucial when users choose their phones. Oppo says its MarisilIcon X can make AI-assisted 4K night video with high dynamic range, applying image enhancement commonly seen on still images to moving pictures.
On Tuesday, Oppo also released its first augmented reality glasses, Oppo Air Glass. The headset consists of a miniature projector and a single lens - it is called a “monolithic waveguide design” - and receives input by touch, voice, or head gestures. It is also scheduled to be released in the first quarter of next year.
